I am so proud of the Icelandic nation and of all the females that participated in the #freethenipple campaign on twitter the last 24 hours. It all started with a feminist that wanted to be able to be topless in public just like men. She then posted a topless pic of her on twitter. She got bad comments on the picture and that it might hurt her chance on getting accepted into a exchange student program. She then took down the pic and complained about how this was unfair. Little did she know that many feminist groups in high schools and the universitys took up then issue and started to post pics of them topless calling for equal rights to be able to dress as they would like. Campaigning that nudity is not sexual and also to condemn revenge porn.Thousands of girls posted pics of them topless. Some walked around the downtown area topless, and also went to swimming pools. Many showed up for school with out bras and some eve in see through shirts.Females of all ages and social status took part. Mostly students but, we also had a parliament member, city council members, lawyers, doctors and so on and so on.This was a great day for Iceland, and for the fight of people to be dressed as they would like to be. Here are links on news stories on the topic.Just wanted to share the joy.

RE: #freethenipple campain on twitter. Feeling so proud!!!!

That is a brilliant campaign. Why shouldn't women go topless like men do, even in a country so far North that a woolly jumper could be what is wanted. Also: women have been wearing trousers now for years. So why can't men wear skirts and dresses? I'm very much in support of this equality.
And for page threetopless girls- the feminists say the girls are being exploited. Are they, or are they exploiting the basic male curiosity? Are the feminists jealous of the models' figures? The market economy is all about us exploiting each other to everyone's benefit. A boss exploits his employee's work and they exploit his ability to pay them.
