Body images, more than puritainistic upbringing I suspect. The advertising media showing us what to expect. Most of us want to be open, but we are lead to believe our bodies are substandard, therefore we are, sad to say, ashamed,though we may be perfect. Such is life; sooner or later we will become aware, and not care anymore.
