Why so many blank profiles?
Return to DiscussionsI may be off course here, but o;n my update page it list who has become friends with whom. I use this by clicking on the new persons profile hoping we may share some of the same interest and might make a match as friends. However it seems most are blank with just a photo by the username. Why not take 5 min. to fill out a little about yourself and what your interest are? I don't understand is it because they are not who they say they are, ie man posing as a woman or couple? Or is it because they are just that shallow that there is nothing to say? We are not here to collect pictures of naked women, internet is full of that in higher quality and more explicit poses. But it seems to me that is the goal of most of the people here.
I don't know if you consider my profile complete enough, but I try to complete it with as much information as I feel comfortable providing. I don't mind people knowing about some of my information, but things like how much I make, etc. I do not think is necessary, if someone wishes to be my friend I don't think how much I make or what religion, etc. should matter. I am a nudist and that is it. I don't have a picture on my profile because I have a very public job and can not afford for the management or general public to cause problems that would cause me to lose my job. I am in no way ashamed of being a nudist, and if everyone understood and excepted nudist as we know it, I would not have a problem with everyone knowing I am a nudist. I know some people have heard and others should know a lot of employers are searching social sites and not just facebook or twitter, to gather information on perspective or current employee's. Idon't want people to think I amtrolling, I don't ask for pictures, or provide pictures, I don't see the reason for this practice. I don't care what people look like or think they should care what I look like,I am a nudist and if someone wants to be a nudist friend of mine that is fine, and if not that is ok too. I havenumerous nudist friend'ssome are just computer friend's, some are friend's that we actually get together for nude socializing. I also am an officer of our local nudist club(Niagara Naturist) and we have 20 members, and have several nude activities each year. So if you don't think my is complete enough, or the fact I don't provide a picture is a reason to not want chat or be friends with me that is ok.I hope everyone has a great day!CRNUDE
I understand completely! My spouse has such a job also and that is why her pics are not on here. I also understand about income, that is nobodies but mine and the IRS's business. What I was referring to was General info about what you found interesting to do, what kind of music you like etc. Just something to tell me if we would have something to talk about besides "I'm sitting in my recliner nude." fairly boring conversation if you ask me.

I agree with all of that except the nude pictures part. My wife is a teacher who works with abused and neglected children at a school run by a religious organisation. It could mean her job and her teaching certificate if she were "found on the internet" nude. I feel a generic face shot should be sufficient to post as a pic on your profile. Are we not here to promote that everyone is beautiful naked? So why worry about a nude pic that can be seen by anyone, why not WRITE something interesting about yourself, then let the person make a decision based on that instead of "wow, she has perky boobs." or "Did you see the size of his schlong."
I have been on and off this site for a few years now. I agree with the comments about profiles having information and the fact that the admin should monitor and filter those that leave everything blank. I understand that there are a few on here who are shy and afraid that they may be seen by a colleague or friend. I would say if the colleague or friend is on here then they are probably nudists themselves so may actually share a common view! although there may be some who are trolling for pics etc! As for the clothed or naked pics on site. my personal view is some of the people on here are curious about nudism or interested in it. They may not actually be nudists at this time and therefore may not have actually tried it. they may post a pic of themselves clothed. Should we criticise them for being brave enough to show a clothed pic after all it's not about having to wear or not wear clothes but about the freedom to go naked when they can and enjoy it! I know that some of the ladies I have spoken to on here have removed pics after they have beenfound on other sites so feel the system does not give them the security to freely place pics on here. some have received abusive comments and removed pics. Others have made them private for the similar reasons they do not want them being copied etc by the picture collectors. So in a nutshell! details on profile should be filled in... details of wealth occupation etc should be optional for reasons already given by others. Pictures clothed or otherwise should allowed a certified pic should be obtained by the admin at least to prove they are real but not necessarily displayed again for reasons I have already given. however no information at all should be frowned uupon after a suitable time period which should be clearly stated at time of joining. or like some other sites unable to join without a minimum of information.As I say just my view but easily followed by all if the admin wanted to!
I would prefer not to be identified by someone trolling the website. For that reason I try to avoid listing information which would confirm my identity to a troll. On the other hand I am not concerned about who knows I am a nudist, either here or at home. Lots of people are aware of my fondness for no clothes but that is as far as it goes. I only accept friend requests from people with a profile and with photos. Often the deciding factor is whether they are certified or not. I agree with most of what has been said but my theory is it would be too hard to set up rules which would satisfy everyone so I am content to use my own judgement on a case by case basis.

First, no employer is going to be searching on this site. Secondly, your name isn't attached to your nudism, right? So I don't see an issue here at all. No employer is going to be able to find you and connect the dots, because the dots aren't connected! As for no nude photo, I just came across a guy with a pic in the forest, totally nude but looking the other way. Why can't people do something like that? It's not difficult. And it can be very artistic!

As far as ppl who think using part of your name is a sin, well I use my first name, and on my profile I may give TMI but at least you know I am real, also as for paying, I am a certified pd member here and on TS, so I don't like ppl thinking everyone should pay to be here, as far as being certified, I do believe everyone should be with a full face view clothed or nude up to them. I agree your income shouldn't even be there, finally when you get to be 71 yo, your going to wonder why you worried about these little things anyway .............................Ruhl

We are on other sites and it's infuriating when you get messages from people with empty profiles. We don't reply or if we do we ask they reply telling us about them. TN should make it so you only get access to the site when a profile percentage is met.
I'm much the same. I understand that some people may have good reasons not to share recognizable nude photos here, but blank profiles don't help when you're looking to meet nudists here and there's noting to indicate that these people are nudists.
