Local nudists
Return to DiscussionsIt's the same old refrain. Actually I can meet more local nudists here on the W. Coast of Florida by taking my sea kayak out on warm weekends to areas traditionally frequented by nudists. It's great to get friend requests from Outer Mongolia and the Arctic Circle, but more locals would be nice.
I wish that more people were nudists in our area. I am sure everyone has the same issue in their home towns.
And, no pun intended, meeting/finding ones, that actually want to do something or go places. I don't mind the travel or even hosting, if you can meet folks that really want to do things and socialize. I do believe, speaking from experience, that this site does help you meet and come in contact with some great folks and the potential for socializing.

- I have tried starting groups, posting on the forum, posting in groups, on here and ts , and if there are any other nudist in central WEST VIRGINIA, they must be all closet nudist or only get nude to shower lol....ruhl9 here ..........ruhl99 on ts
There may be more nudist in your area than you know. Many that belong to resorts are just secretive about their lifestyle outside the resort. We belong to a resort that's 45 mins away from home. We were told that there was a couple from our home town that were there often but that it was usually during the week with our visits primarily on the weekend. We were recently introduced to them and come to find out to our surprise and theirs, we actually live around the block from each other. We have lot's of laughs about it now.
This year was the first time I went to a place near my area. It was late in the season and only went the one time. I felt very welcomed and enjoyed it very much. I will be going at the start next year. I think it will be a good chance to meet and make friends with the people there, as my friends here are not into the nude scene. They know that I am in the lifestyle, but we are clothed when we are together.

Would love to have some local nudists in my area too. Its 6hrs to the closest nude beach and almost 3 hrs to the closest nude resort....I did discover a nude swim club about an hour from me...hoping to make it to one in January. Would be great to have a group to have a naked game night....board games or game of cards.
Yes AndyDi I agree and it is the same whether we meet people clothed or nude. Like the people living in my area I know all the people close to me, some we don't associate with at all, some we have a casual acquittance with and some we are very close friends with and share our likes and dislikes similar to our own . Then I go to this place that I went to next year, I hope to meet people there for the same reason. I have had both good and not so good experiences on here and have met some people that I have made friends with. I am so glad that one of my friends lead me to this site and opened a whole new world of nudism to me.

It is super hard to find locals in the lifestyle that are willing to meet tojust sharesocial nudism. I 've been trying to find year-round nudist friends for the past 5 years,but haveonly acquired a few regular beach friends, but I'll keep trying.
