Post #7DaveITBToplessdrop me a line RE:Visit this yearDoes everyone park at the normal car park near the start of the wooden walkway if on a day visit?
Has been suggested that if you turn right just at toilet block you can park in the caravan park, but as I ride there not sure if Is suitable for leaving a motorbike there.

RE:Visit this yearHi Dave
You can park at the car park by the toilets. It's pay&display. Not sure if you have to pay for motorbikes. Many people park on the side of the road to avoid charges but it gets busy early if the weather is good.
I hear you can park in the caravan site on the right too for a fee. It's a (slightly) shorter walk from there.
I sometimes park at Shell Island and walk down from there. Have to pay a day entry fee if you're not camping there.
Won't be going for easter as it'll be too busy but might try to get a camping weekend in sometime in early May if the weather holds up.

RE:Visit this yearYeah I made it there today. Traffic was a nightmare. Queuing for a good 20 minutes to get into Barmouth! But a lovely afternoon on the beach at Morfa. Bonus that the pay and display machine was broken!

RE:Visit this yearWent last week for the day never saw a soul on the naturists section sat on beach nude for a good few hours and read a book in the peace and quiet Heaven.
Wind got a bit sharp as the day went on and sun cooled off
