Flattery, complements, and flirting
Return to DiscussionsBeing new to nudist/naturist I do understand that for most sex is never part of this. I know this and I respect this. My question is this...
If lines are never crossed or broken and manners and respect are always used is flattery complements, and flirting acceptable within the community? Remember this question has nothing to with sex or the men and women who violate those boundaries.
The reason I ask is I have been advised many times to only make eye contact. But I'm not sure if I'm alone in this but I do love paying complements and flirting respectfully but not crossing those lines. So how do you handle this?
Yes not at a resort and not day one of meeting someone. Only after respect, and friendship has been earned. I'm too old to be hit. I've seen some beautiful pics on here and I've been afraid to give complements. I'm just being extremely cautious.
I appreciate the responses. When you've never been and people in chat or in messaging on here are wanting to swap pics and stuff it can be confusing on what is ok and what isn't. I just want to make sure of what to expect.
I thought you were including "live" social nudity in your question; but you're strictly talking about online "social" nudism?
I've only shared nudist pics with people I had a long-standing online "relationship" with (sometimes months if not years.) I've done it when geographical/situational differences made it very unlikely we'd ever meet in person; and the only way we'd see each other nude was if we exchanged pics. And then I do it on a "parity basis." In other words if they send a pic of themselves, I send a pic of me. If they send a couples pic, I send one of my wife and myself. In a latter situation, it is ok if they say I have an "attractive wife", because of our long-standing rapport having led to a level of trust; and also because then I can return the compliment. That's my personal take on it; and even then I actually haven't done it too many times.
The "thing" about Truenudists is that ALL types of people join. You can't always tell if someone is actually an exhibitionist - for example - and actually likes to be flirted with/complimented/flattered. Or is a man posing as a young woman. Or is someone with body-acceptance issues who derive confidence from being told they "look great naked." But either way - and it's just my opinion - it is "wise" to steer clear of specifics - and I am talking about breasts and/or genitals. A simple "you look great" can be enough.
