She thinks I am crazy but does not object to me going to nudist parks and laying around the house naked. She does seem to think it is a sexual thing instead of a naturist view. I doubt if I will ever convince her differently.

To start with: Don't try to push her or convince her to join. It's entirely a personal journey. It's good that she thinks you're crazy, but still loves you and doesn't try to stop you. That says a lot.
My advice, when you go on weekend (preferably longer) getaways as just the two of you, go to a place with all the things you generally like to do together. Try to find a secluded rental house that has a hot tub and a protected deck to lie in the sun where there is absolutely no chance of any people being able to see you enjoying either.
Since you're already telling her that she is gorgeous and the most beautiful woman in the world at random times (which you should be doing, but not overdoing), she should be getting the point that your heart flutters all the time, seeing her whether she is clothed or nude. Walking by her when she's nude in front of the sink, kissing her on the neck and saying "hi beautiful" and you love her, and then walking on by will let her know that naked isn't always sexual.
On to the hot tub...it's secluded, and just the two of you. Let her know that being nude in the hot tub feels 100 times better that in a suit and she can wear wear a suit, or nothing, completely up to her. Nobody but you can see and you thinks she's fabulous. If she bites and goes in topless or nude, don't do anything sexual. No moves.
On the deck, in the sun. Same thing...nothing sexual. Don't even make sex related comments. Maybe she'll go topless. If that makes you start to get a little horny, relax. Don't act on it. Make sure you act the same way as when she is not topless or nude. Keep it as pure nudism and she might start understanding it a little better.
I admit that nudism with your spouse can move out of the plain nudism realm and have an element of intimacy involved. With all other people, your nudism is simply nudism. You have an added dimension with your spouse, so you will have to exhibit some self control.
It's not hopeless, but you will need to start with a place that is completely secluded and it will take time. Then maybe a good spot like that at home. Unfortunately, that isn't always easy. I don't have the ability to do that where I currently live....but our next house..definitely!!
We live on a secluded acreage and travel in a motor home, so my goal is to get her to stay overnight at a nudist RV park. There is one in Texas that is on our way south in the winter. It is clothing optional so I am hoping that she will agree to that. Hopefully she will see some other women with similar bodies and make her less self concious.

Does not sound like a bad plan. I am hoping that there are enough people there that choose the option to keep their clothes on that she will not feel uncomfortable doing so herself. I think keeping her comfortable is key. She will then see all the people that prove the fact that most nudists are definitely not models and yet we are all beautiful, every one of us.We''ve all been through experiencing how liberating it is. Hopefully she gets that same feeling when she tries. Good luck.
I'm in a similar situation, although not quite as good. My wife accepts that I go to nudist resorts here locally in Texas, but she refuses to go herself. I don't think my wife believes its sexual, she is just not comfortable with nudity. She does not want to be nude, see others nude or really even talk about it. Long and short of it is that she knows I go, but does not want to discuss it. But back to you and your situation.
I believe I belong to the one you are considering stopping at, Bluebonnet, I joined it specifically because the resort is clothing optional for women (incorrectly joined it thinking this would allow my wife to come and participate to whatever her level of comfort is) and only requires nudity for men. If that is the one you are considering, I believe you will find that women will range in their attire from completely nude to completely dressed, the intermediate is sort of the norm for women, a sarong (sp?). Additionally, you will find that everyone (men and women regardless of their attire or lack thereof) ranges from middle age and in shape to older and out of shape (leaning more to the latter). Either way, nude, dressed, somewhere in between, young, old, in shape, out of shape everyone is friendly and respectful and no one will make an issue of what she decides to do in the way of undressing or not.
I've been to the Nude beach Nearby quite a few times and also tried a nude resort recently. My wife is okay with me going as long as my chores are done. She has no interest in joining me and being with or seeing other people naked but knows I enjoy it. Recently she has been looking at little vintage campers (canned hams) to pull behind the car thinking I could use it at some nudist resorts nearby. She thinks they are cute . Maybe I'll be able to talk her into trying clothing optional ones with me.
My wife is also rarely nude but accepts that when we are home alone in warm weather, I will probably be nude in the house and the private areas of our yard. She also knows I go to nude beaches without her but she doesn't like the beach and I do.
