If you like being smooth, I mean really smooth than get them waxed. Did mine for the first time a month ago and couldn't be happier. It's not as painful as you might think and not as painful in the areas you might think. The pubes above my penis was the most painful while the anus and taint was probably the least painful. And the amount of pubes that came back is probably a 3rd less than I had. Am do to go back in a week or so.

I miss not getting waxed. I'm hoping to return to my esthetician in the near future and getting back to waxing again. I've been shaving every few days now and it's a PITA. If I miss a shaving interval, it gets stubbly and itchy. With waxing, I had none of that and it lasted me 6 weeks!

The waxing is great. Not having to shave all the time is a big plus and it really is a lot smoother than shaving for a good month. Only drawback is you have to let it grow out so much before getting waxed again. But still worth it in my opinion.

Amen, Andy! Started getting waxed last summer and look forward to every appt. I am 4 weeks out now and already made an appt for 2 weeks hence at the 6 week point. I originally started shaving because my wife liked the look but now love the feeling and don't plan to ever be hairy again.

I also use a Norelco bodygroomer that my late wife had for maybe 45 years. I recently found it when going through some of her things. I remember her using it years ago and forgot about it. I don't shave my pubes, but everything else is shaved with this little razor and it works great.

Silversurfer,

The upside is that the hair does have to be allowed to grow back to a length that the wax can grip but that hair becomes really fine after a few sessions and to tell you the truth, I still felt pretty smooth and looked smooth even with the hair at acceptable length to wax again. There were several times where the hair was patchy enough that I lasted 8 weeks a few times because I could actually tweeze those very small patches and be completely smooth.

I figure I'll have to kinda start over again since I've not been back for a wax session in over a year!

...and an Amen to that Frog! We've been smooth for decades, even before the first female appeared in Penthouse magazine without pubic hair. It was all the rage and my wife and I looked at each other and said, "ahhh, we've been doing that for over a year now!" :DDDDD

Being smooth certainly got us looked at with raised eyebrows way back then and I was even thought to be homosexual, at work, because of my smooth pubic area, penis and scrotum... boneheaded, narrowminded twits! ;DDD

AndyDi,

The hair is definitely a lot thinner and not much there yet. Still looks and feels smooth like you said. Probably can make another week or so easy.

do try waxing.... its not as bad as you imagine!but be prepared to pay good price for experienced therapist, who can minimize pain by major factor.i find hot wax better than cold but everyone different.i usually find female therapists more gentle than male. they seen everything before so no shyness needed!

I had a woman do my male brazillian and she did a wonderful job. explained everything and worked her way around to different areas to let the last one cool down. Even putting pressure on certain areas to help with the pain which wasn't much. Had me lay on my back and spread my knees to the sides while putting soles of my feet together. Was a piece of cake. She's the only one that does men for that company. I think it is a $65 charge but I bought a package deal of 3 for $125. Well worth it in my opinion.

Years ago I tried waxing myself. I didnt do a full wax on myself but I waxed some of the area. Though I liked the feel after and how long it took to grow back, I didnt like having to wait for it to be long enough so that I could wax it again. Shaving is easier and I dont have to wait as long.
