Return to DiscussionsI liked this, and found it pretty funny, but I agree it'ssad too. I can't think of a close friend I've had since I was about 14 or 15 I haven't seen naked and been naked with. Between showers after gym class and sports I saw all the boys I knew naked many times and I saw close friends naked more than I saw anyone else.A friend and I shared a room when we went to the same school. On our first day we had time to kill after dinner and decided to check out the university pool. After our swim he and I were in the shower alone and took a long hot one.I was a little self conscious at first, he wasso well-built, a gymnast and diver, but we had seen each other naked a few times in high school and we talked and joked and went back to our room. We were just getting ready for bed and I was so SO happy to hear him say "I hope you don't mind but I sleep in the nude".. Ha ha!! I couldn't have had it any better! I loved sleeping naked and was glad I wasn't going to have to be discreet. The next morning I woke up withmy penis erect and wasn't sure howhe or I wouldhandle it. I was actually a little stressed out about it andstayed inbed. But then he jumped up, realizing he was late and was also at full mast and as big and hard as me. He laughed and was acting kind of embarrassed.I pushed off the sheet and stood next to him and we both laughed. We were equal in size, me more of a grower. After that morning we never had a moment of awkwardness. We saw each other naked, hard, soft and eventually talked about all kinds of stuff with each other. It was a good experience. I had subsequent room mates and closer friends and we always saw each other naked. Often showered together. I really love it. I love being naked with male friends. One time at a gym where I had a membership several guys I worked out with always used to shower with me and we talked all through while washing and drying. Straight guys, nothing sexual going on. But then the club put up partitions and doors. I wrote a note protesting this saying I was disappointed I couldn't shower with my friends. They actually posted it! And said they had requests from men to put up partitions. My friends thought it was just funny they posted my letter with my name on it and gave me a hard time about it. We still hung naked in the sauna, but the shower thing was not an issue to them. I just thought it was unnecessary. Males have enough barriers by always being competitive in life. Physical barriers just block us from being open and naked with each other. I went on and on here, but I did like the video. I was kind of envious seeing all those guys being able to see their friends naked for the first time. It's kind of cool. Just to bad it took them so long.

This video sends the wrong message that there is automatically something "odd" and inherently "sexual" about seeing someone else naked.As a nudist I've of course seen many of my male friends naked. None of them had anything under their clothes that the rest of us didn't have. And as a gay nudist there isn't something sexual simply because men are naked together. Lastly two men should be able to hug just as easily with their clothes off as they could with their clothes on.It's sad that this video used some rather closed minded people who reinforce certain negative perceptions that only exist because people believe they do.
