2018 camp takeover of Homestead Nych ?
Return to DiscussionsOkay, so it's meant to be a somewhat funny title. But wouldn't it be great to have a group outing and 'takeover' the place? Would be nice to get out and meet some fellow TNers. Looks like a nice place with enough to do in the area. And NILLCOUPLE has been there and given it a thumbs up. How about mid-August?
Hmmm, we thought there'd be more enthusiasm.
Any others interested in meeting up? Seems like a decent place (and welcoming hosts based on their responses to us) with plenty to do in the area.
Or are most people not campers?
Or is this too far north?
Or too early to think about summer?
Nillcouple has been there and gave us this info:
"There is no running water. But it is very clean their they pump water into a tank and then it is gravity fed to the shower. The people are very nice. Your phone my or not work there and no electricity. with all that being said I would still go back for the weekend. You just need to plan ahead of time."
In our correspondence with the Homestead, they've seemed very pleasant and welcoming.
