RE:Locker room

I know a lot of people at my gym so try not to make them uncomfortable. I usually hang my towel over my shoulder so it hangs in the front semi-hiding my (not so) privates. At least it appears that I am trying to respect their comfort. As for drying off, I always do it by the showers. I have a pet peeve about people who walk into the changing area wet and drip all over the floor. I don't want to stand in your puddle.

Shungaboy, you haven't tried a Korean spa yet?? You have to!! They're a nudist's paradise. Nothing optional about it, you HAVE to be nude in the wet areas. There are a few in NYC and north Jersey to choose from. I haven't tried any of them yet, but I've heard good things about Island Spa in Edison and Spa Castle in NYC.

I can say definitively that Spa World near Washington DC is phenomenal!!

I too do the shoulder towel. I once towel skirted but no more!! I understand "comfort level" but it's a locker room. Let it hang. For those who don't, they are amiss. This is a place for males to be men and bond together whilst nude. Period. Showering in shorts is fear-based and abounds with shame. Nope. Be nude. Be proud...simply exist as you would at home. A sauna is the same place. Nude only. Towel under your bum. Those are the laws!!! And finally, yes, dry off in the shower area. Dripping everywhere isn't cool. Once a dude was dripping water from his dick onto my shoe. Lmao.

I carry a towel but it's never wrapped around me. Seems silly to do the "towel dance" when in the company of men. We are all the same with different trim levels.

At the pools I use I put conditioner in my hair, rub some sort of shower get all over to try to get rid of the chlorine feel and smell and then walk into the stall still in my speedos. I don't close the door, rinse off all the stuff I just put on and take off the speedos to rinse them out, chlorine destroys them faster otherwise. Then walk out back to my towel and space. Tend to put a lotion over my skin to counter the effects of the chlorine too before drying. I don't rush and happily wander around naked.

At my normal pool there is hardly anyone around so it is like my own personal space but at a new pool recently there were lots of older guys in there. I kept my routine, walked around happily and no one cared although I think plenty looked, maybe it was the fully smooth look.

RE:Locker room

Went to spin class tonight at my gym and had an awesome workout. Hit the locker room and stripped naked. This time of the evening there is an older guy always there. He is always naked and frankly has a huge dick. He was showering and shaving and soaking in the whirlpool with a college guy with an equally large dick and who too was proud to be naked. We all see each other twice week due to the class I attend. It was great to be with likeminded men crossing the age spectrum who totally enjoy to be naked. Its like it should be!

At the Y I belong to it seems no one walks around nude in the locker room. I don't use it much since I live a mile away and take yoga classes with my wife. But when I do use it I might hang the towel over the shoulder deal. Seems it's pretty prudish at this Y and being shaved down there probably wouldn't be very accepting. When I had a gym membership at the club we belong to more guys walked around nude than not. Don't think I've ever seen anyone shaved there before though. I wasn't back then either.
