Nude beaches lake mead
Return to DiscussionsWe were wondering if there is still an active nudist beach or area out at lake mead? Ive read about the 8 mile road area. Weve spent some time on our boat searching for it but so far have not found another naked sole on the lake. lol. Anyway just seeing if anyone knew of a location or where to find some others enjoying our lake in the buff.

Still nothing official. We end up finding a private spot every time we go out. We drove the roads at 8 mile this past Wednesday (5-27). There were still cones at the entrance but most were moved aside so we went ahead. Made it down to the water and found a little spot to lay out. Didnt see another persons on the water. We continue driving roads just to get the lay of the land and eventually found some other vehicles but all lake goers were clothed :(. I guess if we are going to get a social nude experience on the lake we will have to create one for ourselves.
Well wouldnt say open. I would say the cones have been moved and people are using the area :). Doesnt seem to be anyone policing the area but you do have to take a little sub road. The barricades are still blocking the main road. Car may not make it. Truck or something off road capable you are fine
