My first time at Hippie Hollow...
Return to DiscussionsMy 1st time at Hippie Hollow - had wanted to get over there for quite some time (I live in the Houston area)... Every time I occassioned to be in the area, it was after hrs, and the park was closed (they close at varying times throughout the yr - at this time it was 6pm). By the time I finished w/ my errands, it was after 1pm, so I was already getting off to a very late start. But I was determined to make a go of it. It takes me abt 3hrs travel time, so I when I got there it was abt 4pm - sun was still out and beautiful, but I missed the warmest part of the day. It was very breezy (in fact, the whole area had been issued hazardous Fire Warnings).
I'll be posting some pics here as soon as I get them over to a server someplace.
Well our first time at HH was about 5 years ago we had always heard about HH and wanted to check it out so we went one day ,I stripped off and enjoyed the sun right away but my wife she was shy at first and just took off top but after awhile took off bottoms too. we ave been back at least a couple times a year and i have been a few times by my self it is so relaxing laying there and listening to the waves splash on the rocks and you can always meet some nice people out there.
HH is my favorite C/O place in Texas and I go for a run at the park every time I'm in Austin. Can't wait to get back there in 2009!
Holler at me when u get ready to go... I know I would have enjoyed some company when I went, and I want to get back there asap! Just let me know, and if I can take the time, you can count me in!!
rdcf350... My plans have kind of evaporated - had to rebuild a computer, and have fallen behind in my studies. But I'm definitely going to be heading that way again - maybe this next weekend if the weather is looking good. I'll definitely keep you posted thru this group. Thanks.

I have been watching the drizzle, haven't been out to see how cool it is. The cold front hit here this morning also. I was so nice here yesterday afternoon I was wishing I was there.
My first time to HH was four years ago. I had never been nude socially before, just a home nudist. I felt very comfortable there and was nude like everyone else as soon as I got there. I have met some very nice people there and am looking forward to going back soon.
I've visited the park once every year since I've heard of it. The first time I went, I walked around barefoot to get the full effect of the clothing optional opportunity. Bad idea. Wear sandals or you're gonna cut your feet. I'll be going again when the water is warm.
