Return to DiscussionsWhile working in New England, I was on a long assignment so booked a long term hotel room. First week was pretty routine, getting to know everyone. Friday I invited the employees to my hotel for appetizers and drinks. I'd say half of them took me up on the offer, I am sure they were curious as to what would transpire. The hotel had a pool and the guys wondered if they could use it. I told them I did not have suits for everyone, but they could swim in their underwear. Most had boxers and only a couple were in briefs but they all took part. Afterward we went to my suite and stripped down to dry off. I put their drawers in the dryer and we sat had played cards while their "suits" dried. It was an awesome moment. Talk about bonding. I have never accomplished so much in so little time. Best part is, productivity was increased by 30% after that week and has been maintained since. Isn't it wonderful what a little bonding can do?
A few years ago I was a member of a private Men Only gym, They had a swimming pool, sauna, steam room and a hot tub. Nobody ever wore bathing suits in those areas. The rest of the gym required clothing, especially on the exercise machines. Anyway, one day I invited one of my male friends to join me as my guest in the gym. When he saw the pool, he said he wasn't prepared for swimming because he didn't bring a suit. I told him that nobody wore a suit in the pool since it was only men in the gym. He hesitated at first but after I got undressed, he did the same and followed me into the gang style shower. We then jumped into the pool and skinny dipped. He was laughing, saying he never felt so free before. There was nothing sexual between us at all... just two friends enjoying a naked swim together. After the pool, we used the hot tub before heading home again. He enjoyed himself so much, that he actually became a member of the gym. We are still friends today and see each other often. Unfortunately, neither one of us are members of the gym anymore since it closed down due to Covid restrictions. He still speaks fondly of his first time swimming naked with other men around.

Was nude swimming permitted until the gym closed due to Covid restrictions?
I was just becoming a naturist prior to the covid lock downs in March 2020, so just missed the nude swims with the local Nude Recreation group. By the time they started hosting nude swims again last year I had already become very comfortable in my own skin, so I was excited to join them. It has been great swimming without a suit, and I have been intentional during summer vacation to include nude beaches with swimming whenever possible.
