Return to DiscussionsHi guys. While I have never lived in Melbourne I grew up in Sydney and now have lived on Gold Coast for the last 20 years. I started going to the gym in the late 70's when only men were allowed in gyms and during hot summers guys could workout nude. This was completely normal and was so good. Most, if not all YMCA's since 1851 until about the 1980's guys would workout nude. Sadly that doesn't happen anymore, guys seem so insecure these days. Up here on the Gold Coast I have opened my own nude gym for guys so if anyone is up here on the Gold Coast and wants to do a nude workout then contact me. If your exercising and sweating why wear clothes. To me it seems so unnatural to wear clothes when exercising.
I was part of that for a short time in the 70's and early 80's. Now I have gym equipment in my basement so I can work out nude again!
Wow. that is fantastic. Melbourne here and have heard of nothing like that. Good for you. I"m sure it breaks down all these ridiculous barriers and hangups that so many guys have today, particularly younger guys. I hope it's a huge success for you and wish there was one in Melbourne. My only chance is working out at home naked, which is also enjoyable, but so much better with a buddy. Hopefully one day I'll find someone to share it with.
