Winter is fast approaching, now what?
Return to DiscussionsHey all, I was introduced to the joy and freedom of Gunnison this summer and I'm wondering, are there any venues for recreational naturism during the winter? I live in Manhattan and I'm thinking of hosting a nude party at my apartment. I'd love any advice or suggestions.
This is a good idea, I am sure there are many who have the same interest.
First consider how many can you fit in your apartment. There are a lot of nudist listed in groups living in NJ and NY. Browse the list and try to develop friendships with some that you think are interesting. Let's say you can host 8 people, try to develop friendships with 16 - 20. Be sure to communicate with them to ensure that you find them likeable. Ask them if they know of any places nudes can meet during the colder months. They usually will let you know if it's a good idea or not - a nice way to filter your list. After you identify your group of friends send out invitations including the date and time of your event. Let them know that invites have been sent out to XX people and you can only accomodate XX number of people. Lets say you want 8, 4 guys and 4 girls. Let them know how many of each sex you plan to attand and give them a RSVP date incase you need to find other attendees. After you have received your response you need to decide which people to attend and inform the others that you are sorry but your invite list is full.
I suggest plan a simple meal. Get Stoffers lasagna, make a saled, dessert and beverages. I myself would be concerned about serving booz at the parties; I've been to more than enough where there were too many drunks, and I wouldn't want to have to clean up after them.
