After naked yoga
Return to DiscussionsOver the course of about 7 years I had the good fortune to attend weekly yoga classes that were for men and were done nude. The teacher was excellent, and I would still be going if they had not had to change locations, and because he eventually changed to giving only clothed classes. After the classes, as guys were getting mats and towels together, they would socialize a bit, and almost every time there were shared naked hugs. I was apprehensive at first, partly because I'm naturally shy and partly because of the old fear of having a boner in a place and time when it isn't appropriate. Eventually, though the generous actions of a couple of other guys who truly loved them, I got to really like the full body naked hugs. There is just nothing else quite like it, especially when everyone is refreshed and happy from the yoga practice. A long time friend, who was in the classes with me for part of the time, still see each other on occasion, and used to belong to the same gym. We would sneak in a naked hug whenever we could. And we called them "yoga hugs". I do miss the beautiful naked yoga, and especially those wonderful hugs afterwards.
My first experience of yoga was at a Naturist event, so obviously it was naked. I enjoyed it, so I'm now a fan of yoga and was able to do it naked for several years, but sadly I don't have that luxury any more (I go three times a week to a textile yoga class at my local gym). I also love hugs, but have never experienced them naked, well not with any body contact anyway. Clearly I need to work on that; your description of naked yoga with naked hugs reads like a dream to me, thank you for posting it.
I would agree that naked yoga hugs are the best way to end a nice practice. Most classes I've attended in different cities end with a hug. Some are not always comfortable doing them by keeping a distance, like chest hug, while others want full body contact even the intra-locking leg type. This is something different and wonderful with naked hugs with guys that is not the same when done clothed. It's a way like a special connection or bond.
I had a similar experience and a yoga class I was able to attend a few times before I moved out of state, but I do remember the naked hugs at the end of the class. Great fun. Looking for a new place in Arizona that offers yoga classes for men preferably nude.
