Rooster Rock conditions as of June 22, 2015
Return to DiscussionsI rode my bike out to Rooster Rock yeterday, and the water levels dropped a lot in the last week.
Not only are all the trails dry, but you can walk all the way out to Sand Island without having to wade through any water at all.. The water levels aren't usually down this far until the end of August or mid September.
The rangers have positioned some trash cans further in than the trail head, so you may not have to carry your trash all the way back out if you happen upon one of them.
