Battle Ground Area, looking for local friends
Return to DiscussionsLast summer I got priced out of my apartment in Portland, and now live in my sister's house in Battle Ground, WA (north side of Vancouver). Neither she, nor her kids are naturists. Also, due to blind spots in my vision, I can't drive a car. Although, I can safely ride a bike.
Anyway, the public transit out here is terri9ble. It seems if I am to be able to continue going to naturist/nudist places or to participate in nudist events, such as Portland's World Naked Bike Ride, I need to find local nudists who also enjoy platonic clothing optional activities. Activities, I like to do nude are hiking, riding a bike, swimming... well just about anything as long as it is not cold and the activity doesn't have any safety issues where it would make sense to wear clothing for protection.
I myself am generally a quiet and introverted person. I spend most of my time reading books. I am NOT looking for anything sexual. I identify as gay, but I only mention that because I am upfront and some people would not be comfortable doing clothing optional activities with someone who is gay. However, when I had leukemia, the drugs killed my sex drive., so although I identify as gay, I am pretty much asexual, and if anyone were to make sexual advances, Id be more annoyed than flattered. I'm just NOT looking for that.
Other things I should probably mention upfro0ht to avoid conflicts is I am an Atheist (and have no interest in organized religion of any kind), and politically I would land on the far left. I prefer to eat a bit healthier than the general population, which means I prefer a sit down restaurant and don't like fast food. I also prefer craft beer to mass produced beer. I am also very dubious about the sanitation levels of food carts.
If you are into camping, I'd be open to that. Although, I'd need to buy some of the needed equipment. I like the idea of living naked in the woods for days at a time.
I'd prefer to either join or form a group of half a dozen or more if possible. With clothing optional activities more people is just usually more fun and more comfortable. Id also be open to finding a hiking buddy, clothing optional or not.
Hope you are having a great day!
