Have any of you had a similar experience using Google Hangouts, it seems that nearly all of my contacts turn out to be scammers? The common threads are being called "Dear" and the contact having a desire to be with you from the first moment of contact. I've had them ask for money so that they can travel to be with me after barely saying hello, needing money to upgrade cameras, phones, or computers, etc. The most obvious tell is declaring undying love after a few messages. What is it about Hangouts that facilitates these scammers and why doesn't Google make any effort to police this app.
I hope others on here have had better experiences, I would love to meet female nudists who utilize Hangouts and who are who they claim to be. Thank God for reverse image searches, the easiest way to spot scammers.
