More comfortable being photographed nude?
Return to DiscussionsI was transferring some photos from a camera to the main computer
that we store our photos on recently when I decided to compare the
number of nudist photos with all other types. All other categories
far outnumbered nudist ones but over recent years we have far
more people shots of us naked than clothed.
Thinking about this I feel more relaxed and comfortable when naked
and feel that way too when I'm photographed nude, I tend to not
like the shots of myself when dressed, I look uncomfortable in my
view. Digital photography makes life easier for nudists, no more
wondering if the processors will return all of the photos when the
film has nudist shots on it. We've got prints of us nude from a
long time ago but since digital cameras have been around our
collection of nudist shots has expanded significantly. I guess
we're so used to be photographed naked now that we think nothing of
it, 25 years or so ago it was not so easy to do unless you
developed your own photos and you kept needing to buy film, once
you have storage memory you can keep clicking away.We live nude at
home year round, we socialise a fair bit with nudist friends, being
naked is what we're used to, it feels very natural to be
photographed nude, we're nudists, its how we prefer to
live.
Do others here feel more comfortable being photographed nude than
clothed? Is it the same whether you're naked or dressed? Are you
more comfortable being photographed in clothing?
In my case I moved to digital photography at about the shortly after I started naturist photography so, given the propensity to take pictures much more lavishly in the digital age I suspect that my naturist pictures outnumber my others by a considerable margin.

Makes sense . Nothing to hide , nothing to try to make look better . What you see is what's really there . I know I am not huge . it's good to see that I am average as compared to others . And it really doesn't matter in the long look . We are what we are . Steve
I have always been comfortable on either side of the camera. Clothed or nude, I don't really pay much attention to the camera unless somebody requires me to say "cheese".* I have no idea what my nude-to-clothed pictures ratio is and I really don't care.
As to film, I do agree that I was somewhat anxious whether I would get them or not. But I discovered that sending film directly to Kodak for processing eliminated such worries and produced much better quality processing than the drug store services.
* I do admit that I was a bit shy one night while dancing with friends and I had one of those erections that would not go away. I asked the hostess to delete those pictures.
I've had many photos taken of me nude. Some are totally natural where we just walk around and take random photos. I've also had a "stylist" adjust my dick so it "looks good for the photo". In both cases I have no issues posing nude.
