Fuerteventura

A group dedicated to the Canary Island of Fuerteventura (Spain). An island of outstanding natural beauty where nudism is very tolerated except in the main resort beaches, the island is becoming increasingly popular with nudists of all ages. Nudist hotspots, the vast expanse of beaches in the dunes of Corralejo, El Cotillo and the beaches of the Jandia peninsula.

Hi. We are going to Fuerteventura in november 07 and stay for 14 days. We would be glad to hear about the best nude beaches to go there, in the area, or other places in the island.....thanks

If you are not hiring a car then the bus services are very good value and extremely reliable.Just be aware that the time displayed on the timetable is the departure time at the beginning of the route. The time at all subsequent stops depends on the traffic and the number of passengers picked up and set down. This even catches out the locals sometimes. All the beaches except the town centre ones are effectively clothing optional and the proportion of nudists to textiles varies from hour to hour, day to day and month to month.Which beach you will regard as the best will depend on your personal taste.Try as many as you have time for, make your choice and enjoy it.

Hi, and thanks. How is it about buses from the airport to Corralejo? Or is it best to hire a taxi?

RE: Corralejo

bus is from airport to city then from their to Corralejo - doable and reasonable price [plus decent coach] but much quicker by taxi - but hiring a car is no more than cost of taxi

RE: Corralejo

When I was there I hired a car. It does not cost much especially if booked through the airline you use to fly out there. It gives you the flexibility to explore the whole island. As for buses it's one into the main town (Puerto del Rosario and another up to Corralejo It looks like the one to Corralejo runs every 30 min, missing out 14.00 and some in the evening when it's every hour (Lina 6). A long nudist beach stretches from the edge of Corralejo running south down the east coast for miles. It is squeezed between the Fv1 main road and the sea. Another nude beach is in the south of the island at Esmeralda Jardina a bit south of Costa Calma. The interior and west coast are also worth exploring, with little habitation on that coast south of El Cortillo.I stayed in the Gran Hotel Natura on the southern edge of Corralejo with direct access to the nude beach and its car park. So I travelled around naked for most of my stay (did get dressed to go into town - well worth it).
