are there any opportunities around here for discreet sunbathing or naturist hiking Or any areas near by can reach on foot or by public transport? Any help much appreciated! Nude regards Mark
I always stayed in El Cotillo and, while latterly I did little walking owing to a worn-out knee, I did many naked cycle rides around the area including the circular one El Cotillo - Majanicho - Lajares _ el Cotillo, covering up merely to cycle through the villages like Lajares.
The hourly bus service between Corralejo and El Cotillo passes through Lajares and terminates near the start of the clothing-optional lagoons at El Cotillo.
If you fancy an evening meal at one of the dozen restaurants and bars in El Cotillo there is now an evening bus back,
When catching the bus at Lajares you should be aware that the timetables of Spanish buses only state the time the bus starts out and there are no timings for any intermediate points. The resulting variability even catches out the locals from time to time.

Big difference from Costa Antigua.
Lajares is a nice Surfer village. Great little restaurant/bar there, can't remember what its called but there will be people around and in the evenings you won't feel lonely.
I hope you are not staying at Pierre et Vacances Village Club Fuerteventura Origo Mare. It ain't Lajares.
