Shaving Off Your Pubic Hair
Return to DiscussionsTime to come clean, so to speak. I'm naturally very hairy but I shave my entire body from the neck down. For a couple of years it was seasonal. The body hair is good for warmth in the winter so I'd let it grow in the autumn. But I never really liked it so off it came in the spring. On the sister group TS you can watch videos - one of me removing a great ball of body hair one May and another of a morning shower and shave. I find my skin feels cooler and so much more sensitive to the touch, truly sensuous...... And my we willy looks bigger without hiding under a tuft of fur.
I know it is a matter of taste. Some say they would prefer me hairy. But I prefer myself and them completely hairless. The skin feels so much softer and smootheras I run my fingers over their naked body, and they run theirs over mine.
I know many prepare for the beach each summer but I did a survey of two big nudist beaches last summer (one was Cap d'Agde). It was an arduous task gazing at 1000's of pubic areas to get a statistically significant sample. But in the name of research.... I found virtually all the women and about two thirds of men had no pubic hair. This included somemen with otherwise hairy bodies. So it looks like pubic hair is a thing of the past.
I am naturally very hairy (3-4 inches long and and thick). I my 20s my chest hair turned Snow White. in my 30s, I started trimming from time to time, but the pubes were scratchy. Shaving my pubes was ok, but took regular attention, and the hair shafts were so stubbly my partner was poked in al the wrong places and protested. Finally tried waxing and that was everything we wanted, except for the expensea: much cooler, smoother, more sensitive to touch. Not to mention that my penis no longer disappeared in the forest and got to experience what it was like out in the breeze. Less trapped moisture and dirt. My partner liked it much much better than any of the other ways. Now I trim my leg, butt and trunk hair to 1/4 - 1/2 inch. Shave finer shaft hairs on back and shoulders, and wax pubes. Like Oilygrumps, I would prefer the sensation of being hairless all over, simply for comfort and enhanced sensitivity of my skin as an intact sensory organ. But the cost and upkeep of what I am doing is plenty, and we find this approach far superior to the old hairy me.
I started to shave my pubes just out of sheer curiosity and I liked the looks and the feeling. Since I have very little natural hair I decided to get rid of it all except for my head. Not everyone likes it but I enjoy the feeling and that is the most important thing.
I found shaving and trimming to be a bit to bloody for me. It is one thing to put a nick on your face, but to nick around the pubes can put you out of commission for a while. So I found Brazilian waxing was for me. My Tattoo's get covered by pubic hair, I spent good money to have my Tattoo's put there and went through a bit of pain in the process. So I go get waxed to uncover my tattoo's, it lasts longer, no nicks, my G/F loves it, most of the guys here in the U.S. on the beach are hairless around the pubic area. I specially get done before going on a cruise, ships are having more and more adult decks for nudity. You just have to figure out where they are. One ship I was on most of the staff did not know there was a nude area on the ship I finally found.

After the operation, I had a huge bandage on the affected area with instructions not to shower or otherwise get it wet. Sponge baths only. A few days later I went to a follow-up appointment with the surgeon, who removed the bandage to check out my healing progress. It was at that point that I realized that they had completely shaved the pubic hair on the right side, but, of course, hadleft the other side as is. Frankly, I thought being half and half like that was so absurd looking that the first chance I got, I shaved off the other side so that the hair would at leastall grow back in a uniform way. However, I found thatthe lack of pubic hair was so comfortable that I still keep itshaved to this day. I do it for the sheer comfort of it. I live in a hotter climate (Florida), andI only wear shorts in the summertime when out in public.But sinceI'm a free-baller too, being shavedkeeps me coolwhen I am in circumstances where I can't be nude.

Same here. Once the hair was off, there was no going back. It simply was much more comfortable, as I am a freeballer too. Without the hair or clothing, my balls rarely get sweaty. With hair or clothes, they often do. I find myself putting on a pair of shorts only to pull them off a few minutes later because they are so uncomfortable. Same with hair. I think I might grow it back, but once I start, I always shave within a few days and I am always glad I did.

I'm still smooth. But now I do it by having a full body wax. It takes well over 2 hours and is well worth it. Several men have let me shave them after seeing me naked.
A little over a year ago, I finally found a mature woman that was willing to do a Brazilian Wax on men. Amazing how immature some of these women are at the waxing salons around here. I've had about 8 waxing sessions off and on from that time and I've had to shave a few times in between waxing sessions ... did not like going back to shaving. It's been 5 days since my wax and I'm still as smooth as the day she waxed me. I will have to adjust my budget so waxing is a permanent expenditure. :D
Shaving lasts about two days before I begin getting stubble. I was getting tired of shaving every 2-3 days and found that the waxing was lasting me at least 2 weeks before I began to feel any hairs at all. Those hairs were very fine and hardly noticeable. By the 4th-5th week, I was calling my esthetician for a follow up appointment. When I was visiting her on a regular basis, the hair grew back very slowly and very fine. At one point, I was having to hold out til the 6th week before the hair was long enough for her to do the wax. I need to get back on that schedule.
Nice part about her salon is that it's in a beach town and after I visit, I can take a stroll along the main street and get a drink, lunch and people watch. The nude beach is further down south and according to my esthetician, I should limit my sunbathing that first 24 hours after the wax. The upside ... her salon is about an hour away from our house and I drive there and back naked. :D
I agree about the nice smooth period after waxing. I found several experienced, no-nonsense women who work on men in the Seattle area. They seem to be doing a nice business, as (they tell me) most of the women who wax women are freaked out by or don't know how to wax men. I started getting my penis and balls waxed and couldn't believe how good it felt to be really smooth for a period of time. However, I couldn't justify the ongoing cost, and couldn't stand the idea of going without being smooth any longer than necessary. So now I shave. I started doing it every few days as the stubble started to bug me, but now I shave at least once a day, and may "touch up" any rough spots later that day. My skin seems to be adjusting to the shaving, so hardly ever a nick these days. And smooth all the time. I like that.
