Return to DiscussionsNot normal but at times when it gets crowded and people have to start parking further away from13 they will walk as far as 12. While talking to some longtime regulars this winter while there, i was told that when it gets out of hand the rangers will commence to ticket those outside of 13. I hope the practice doesnt get to where they decide to shut down the nudity all together. Only takes a few bad apples to spoil the crop we know.
I have noticed that for the past couple of years, nudists have drifted farther south from #13, either from laziness or ignorance of the historical norm. There was a time years ago that nudists would gather all the way down to #8. But the rangers try to keep nudity north of #13, the traditional area, so as not to have to deal with complaints from those who take offense.
Yes I hope also that people going south of 13 don't spoil it for us. There must have been at least 50 people on 12 stretching all the way to 11. I could not believe it. I was happy in the sense that maybe they was going to expand the nude area to one more lot (#12) but no one here seems to think that is the case........ Thanks for all your in-puts.........scorp
