We will be visiting Florida later this year in Fort Lauderdale to head out on a cruise but before the cruise we have a few days to visit the area. WE will be staying in Hillsboro beach, what and where is the nearest place to hang out nude legally?

Haulover beach. It's a nude beach and completely legal. You'll like it. It's about 40 min south from Hillsborough just south of Sunny Isles. Enjoy.

On the topic of Fort Lauderdale, is there any public use places where people won't mind you being naked such as a bar or other type of business, beside Resorts or the beach? Thanks for the info if any.

at Haulover you need to go to the north section for the clothing optional beach.

I don't know of any establishment that allows nudity, like a bar or anything in FTL. I heard something about a couple gay bars, cubby hole or corner pocket and they have some nights where people go in jocks or nude. Not a big crowd. I have not been, a fellow nudist told me about it. We sometimes have nude shopping at the leather werks on certain nights.
