So the only times I am afforded nude driving is by myself. I have a high riding truck so the only possibility of being seen is by semis or busses. Only had a couple of truckers acknowledge that they had seen anything was by them blowing the airhorn and giving a thumbs up. My trucks windows are tinted in the back but clear in front are clear, no problem.

Not all truckers are the "thumbs up" truckers. I was coming back from a resort one day and noticed a trucker behind me kept backing up every time it would get close to passing me. I'd speed up and he would do the same. It wasn't until about 10 miles later I figured out that he was backing up trying to read my tag. I was pulled over and told that someone reported me flashing them. I always keep shorts at my feet and in my little car I can slip them on without anyone behind me knowing what I'm doing. I told the cop that I hadn't been flashing anyone and I was just coming back from swimming at a friends pool. So remember....all truckers aren't OK with nude drivers :-/
Have never driven nude with my wife as a passenger. She knows I do it and her only concern is sitting on a nudie towel. On the way south in October, I drove our motorhome nude for about 150 miles in Florida, when it was nice and warm. (My wife follows in our car, referred to as chasing.) When I told her I drove nude she didn't believe me.

My own car is a convertible and I would rather drive with the top off and shorts on than the other way around.
While I know some of you are daring enough to drive a convertible nude, I am not.
My wife wants to get our car windows tinted to cut down on the heat inside the car. Told her its a great idea as it will make easier for me to drive naked.
You never said what your wife's response was.
I'm in the same boat as others above. I'm only allowed to drive naked when I'm alone. In the UK we're not allowed to have tinted front side windows, or windscreens, so we don't get much protection that way. What I have found is that most people are so busy with their own business that they don't see anything else.
