Petitor Beach
Return to DiscussionsHi,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if Petitor Beach is still accessible - I might have read wrong but a few years ago I thought I read the path down might have had some damage or they'd been some rock falls?
It was the first beach I experienced naturism quite a few years ago and would like to try to visit again sometime.
Thanks
This was one of the replies I got
For Petitor beach, through the gate at the end of Petitor Road. (please park sensibly as complaints local). Aim slightly right and follow the large green down to the Tree. Onto the Path and down to the second bench at the bottom, Turn left onto the "Goat" track and follow it down. Aim left each fork following the coast round but never turn left and go uphill. Another seat is passed and then start gradually descending down past the steep bit with the rope to help you down and up. Steps are cut into the track in places to help you. (Slippy when wet). Keep going down until you get to the beach entrance, large rocks to traverse. Most naturists go to the right as many single men to the Left. best for sun from morning until mid afternoon depending on Tide. You need to take all as no amenities. The walk back up is challenging for the unfit
