Naked storm clean up.
Return to DiscussionsA brief but powerful thunderstorm came through overnight. I did my usual day break streak out to the curbside newspaper tube and discovered that a dead branch from the silver maple across the road had fallen into the road. It had broken up but was still in big enough pieces that it might cause a car to veer around them. So I stood out there in my birthday suit and tossed the half dozen pieces off into the ditch on the other side of the road. The limb had fallen out of the farmer's tree not mine. I felt extra exposed looking up and down the road while doing the clean up.
