While editing this videoof my regular morning boating tasks I found that there is this unexpected encounter
recorded on the sound track of the raw footage.
This type of encounter is so commonplace an occurrence that I had forgotten all about it until now.
The only encounters we've had were at our club during a Car Show, sponsored by a textile car club and hosted by our club. All the club members were dressed during the entire event but the show was well inside the club grounds so those of us that had cars to show...were naked beside our vehicle. Lots of the car show club members came around to look at the cars. Many stopped at our car and I'd get up and go over to talk with them. I'd say that 1/2 of the women shied away from me as I approached but the other 1/2 actually stood their ground and carried on a conversation with me about the car.
Other club members manned some booths that we visited and they were actually quite nice about the encounter. Most of the car club members had the attitude that ... "we are in your environment. If we are uncomfortable, we could always leave." Many of us nudists appreciated that but there were some that felt that "we" should cover during this event. Not sure if it's true but we haven't had this event in two years. According to our Activities Director, the car club said it was too expensive to obtain permits for the show and the didn't make any money on the event so they stopped sponsoring it.
I did go up and accept my award for Best In Class for Muscle Car, in the nude. Had my picture taken with the car club President and we shook hands. I actually got applause from the car club members for coming up to get my plaque. The other nudist winner put on a long t shirt to go get his. Afterwards he said to me ... "I should have done what you did."

Nudists wear clothes too. I'm usually naked whenever I can be and even then I find myself surrounded by nudist friends wearing clothes. I spent a week in a nudist village and was surprised how many people were walking around clothed. My friend and I were usually the only ones naked in the evenings. So let's not assume that all clothed people are textiles.
Even so we have to be careful outside a nudist environment.
