Where did you go and how long did you stay?
What did you wear for the trip?
Shorts and shirt?
Shorts only?
Nothing?
If the latter 2, how did you handle stops along the way?
In the 1980's I worked as a Scuba Divemaster/Instructor for a large diving vessel in the Gulf of Mexico. There were several 7 day trips that I drove to from over 250 miles away with only a very tiny speedo, one t-shirt and a towel. Once on the boat the shirt was off for 7 days. While in operation we (dive masters) were free to dive solo while the patrons were top side. I made a tremendous amount of dives nude. I would leave my speedo in an unsuspecting spot on the boats rear deck as I slipped into the water and always hoped they would be there when I returned. It worked fine. With your scuba gear on it is hard to detect your speedo either on or off from above water! Late nights were spent on the top sun deck star gazing nude.
Did you ever drive shirtless on the trip?
No not at that time, but would most likely drive there nude today. I drive nude all the time. I have made many solo nude trips over 200 miles in our delivery truck. Great thing about this is you are higher than most other vehicles, just keep it at 65 MPH and let them pass you! Always an inconvenience to have to get textile far a stop!

While you have to put on shorts or a swimsuit, rest stops in the east that are not inside food courts, do not require shirts except in PA.

I drive a convertible and I would rather have my top off and shorts on than the other way around, so I rarely drive nude.
Planning to try it in my wife's minivan sometime when I am driving it and she is not with me. Also higher vehicle and tinted glass except the windshield, so it is less conspicuous.
I did wear the same suit all week as it was all I had to wear. The boat had an outdoor shower to rinse salt water off all gear and that worked for the suit also. I had not given consideration to a malfunction however I most likely could have borrowed something from another crew member. Our bunk room slept four. I was the only one in this room who slept nude but kept it under cover!
One more thought/question.
How did it feel to be fully dressed again after wearing next to nothing for a full week?
Did a day visit to a clothing optional resort in the Poconos on Friday.
When I got there, I thought this would be an ideal place to come for a few days, traveling wearing only shorts and flip flops and just bring one shirt, 1 pair of sneakers and 2 or 3 pair of socks. Then I checked historical weather data and found that it often drops into the 50's there at night in the summer, so it might not be such a good idea after all!

Now that I have given it more thought, I could probably manage with sandals for the amount of hiking and walking I would be likely to do.
Leaving home with only two items of material in my possession would be great.
Even better would be if I could get away without bringing a shirt, but I would be in trouble if I needed a bathroom break, as there are very few places with rest rooms that do not require shirts!
Not strictly no luggage, bt we have just booked our flights for three weeks in Gran Canaria with cabin baggage only.
As we will be eating out at regular restaurants and shopping in textile places this seems to fulfil the terms of the topic heading.
You have inspired me to take as little as possible on my nude holidays. My only clothing is the kilt and top I fly out in. The bulkiest item is my beach towel.
I do have problem for my next one as it will be immediately after a textile cruise with very strict dress codes. For the cruise I'm obliged to pack shirts, jackets, trousers, shorts and a Dinner Jacket. As the cruise and the nude holiday will be back-to-back the luggage for both holidays will be put in my car together. I just hope I take the right one for the cruise. I doubt there will be a problem because one case will be much bigger than the other.

Seems like in this area, like wardrobe reduction, I inspired you to go further than I have. Speaking of kilts, did I tell you that someone on another board had moved to the Canary Islands and stopped wearing shorts and slacks. Hr found that he could be nude most of the time, including some places that were not officially clothing optional. In many other cases a pareo was sufficient and in the few others he wore a kilt.
