For sure. While not minding who sees me nude on here or in real life it couldn't really be any clearer about what this group is about. Its homepage clearly states "have at least two totally naked pictures on their profile and are not afraid to be seen in the nude". I like that this group is set up so as not only are we seen fully frontal nude but that we can see everyone else full frontal too, just as if we were at a nudist club where we expect to see each other like that without any cares, where full nudity is the norm, somewhere true nudists can feel at home.
We can dare to bare all without the lurkers in the bushes or dunes as it were, we're all on an equal footing, real nude nudists, no fakers. Thanks to the group admin.
I'll typically message the applicant, explaining that the Group has a photo requirement and if they have a suitable one they can make visible to others (besides friends), I can then approve them for membership. If I don't hear back after a reasonable time span I assume that they've lost interest in joining. BTW, it's really easy to do with individual photos. If you pull up "My Pictures" on your Profile, there are four small boxes under each photo. The last reads "permissions" and you can make just that one photo visible to "all users".
The key to joining any group on here is to read the the rules first...that makes things easier for everyone involved.
I think it's a great idea for the website too. So many hide and aren't True Nudists and contribute to the whole when it comes to be out and proud.
Ideally that would be good. However from what I can work out TNs business model that allows people like myself to be free members here while paying for the servers and other website costs partly involves nudists sharing photos, which in turn attracts other users who want to see nudists, some of them might become paid members, as they get to see more photos that way. So they pay the costs while we provide the photos. On top of that some true nudists are paid members too of course.
Personally I don't care who sees me nude, there's nothing to be ashamed about being a nudist. Though I'm sure that yet another middle aged male nudist won't add much new traffic to the site! I'm OK with this deal, I've made some good friends here and met a few local nudists as well as some others passing through our area.
It would be brilliant if everyone here were out and proud nudists, sharing nude, full frontal and recognisable photos, so as we saw each other just as we would if we were all at some giant nudist club or beach, but....
I see the options as either having a smaller membership where everyone paid to join, which could then be administered better and where everyone had to share full nude photos. This might encourage the more reluctant sharers who don't mind being seen by true nudists but get put off by the non-sharing voyeurs etc. Or an even bigger free for all than what TN is currently, a mix of fully open nudists, more private nudists, people who want to look at nudists and everything in between.
