Couples Who Only Has One Nudist. Ho
My wife (not just a wife how about hubbies too) won't go nude can we change her mind?
What are the reasons your spouse gives for a non-nudist lifestyle?

Updating! The wife is much more comfortable nude now and decided that shyness should fade away! So, what the heck is now more of her outlook!Perseverance does pay off!
Great topic...here's what my wife says:
- My body is ugly to be naked- People would judge my body- What if you see someone else that is hotter than me?- I don't want someone to make a move on you- My nudity is yours and vice-versa
On top of that she was raised Southern Baptist so in her mind nudity is sexual...but I think that it's a combination of body image and religion.
My wife also plays the religious card... Although I seem to have recently eased her mind on that angle by saying I only practice nudism in appropriate venues, and God knows what we look like anyway... Still haven't gotten her to come around but she has recently given me permission to attend events and join AANR. That is a big chunk of progress. I told her I would really love for her to attend with me...
- I'm just not comfortable {walking, sleeping, lounging} naked.
- I don't want to be around a bunch of people walking around with their "junk" just hanging out.
At least my ex had a rational basis (body-acceptance) for not wanting other people to see her naked (which she would eventually get over). But my wife had this purely emotional and irrationally prude view on nudity.
After failed attempts at nudism and a whole lot of patience, she finally agreed to go to a nudist resort this summer. And lo and behold: after meeting other nudists there she decided she get naked; and found lounging nude by the pool very comfortable. Not only that; but as she interacted with other nudists, she realized she didn't mind their nudity that much after all.
It's the same old story: they have all these misconceptions about nudism; then they get "out there", and find that there's nothing to it. But the hard part, of course, is getting them "out there" in the first place.
