Could Be Nude 24/7
Anyone who would be conformable being completely nude 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. If you would be comfortable nude doing everyday things like working, driving, shopping, going to the bank, every day activities. I know I would if it was socially acceptable.
Where are the places we can live nude?
Return to DiscussionsI'm naked all of the time at home, and anywhere else I possibly can be. I've visited the large nudist communities, and they're great. But I'm not sure I could live in one as they exist now. I found a great complex across from Desert Sun in Palm Springs which combines a nudist 'interior' with 'normal' condo exteriors. That's very close to what I seek!
Is there anywhere that folks have found where you can 'live' nude, around others without having to go through gates and guard houses? Is there a forum or resource site for people seeking this type of community? Are there places that members can suggest? Obviously, one answer to buy a place in the woods, secluded and protected. Tempting as that is, I really would love to be in a 'community'. Any ideas anyone?
i guess thats what tired me of nudist camps/resorts is the closed in gated community, i think it would be great to find a nudist commune where you drive down a dirt road and there is a community of folks that accept nudism. i know communes were popular in the 60's and if you type in communes at googlea whole list will appear including the states where they are located, i think counties are listed also. i looked at it a few times in the past but haven't checked it lately. when it comes to nudist camps/resorts i find the mom and pop type more to my liking - i hate concrete...
LOL camaro, me modest. i'm hoping one day someone will come up with the majical place and sure there are some great nudist camps/resorts where you can live year around, i have this idea of a small nudist village with a little general store, a church heck maybe even a school. someplace where people won't flake out by a nudist walking down the street and definately not the news media roaring into town. yeah it will probably never happen so maybe a little mom & pop nudist camp would be ok too.
My name is George Winlock and I am currently living in a nudist community named Avalon which is near Paw Paw, WV. While we really could be considered a gated community as you have to come through a front gate and ask to be admitted Avalon is a resort with motel like rooms, two pools, hot tubs and dining room. While we are open year round the dining area is only open on weekends when we have guests.
I live in one of the condo units and there are private homes right next to me. Avalon is clothing optional with the only nude requirement being in the pools and hot tubs.
Sexual orientation, race, creed, color etc is not a problem here, all we ask is that proper behavior be observed at all times.
While I am not nude 24/7 I am most of the time. I do dress when cold or going into town for grocery shopping and other errands.
All great ideas everyone. It's amazing to me that there are so many of us which seek such a place, but to date, there is nothing like I envision.
I've visited some of the gay nudist 'campgrounds' like Sawmill, and while they have virtues, it's not quite up to what I'm looking for as a place to live permanently. They're still a small step above camping.
The nudist communities I've visited come close, but I hate the whole gate thing - day pass fees, difficulty inviting guests in, etc. The largest, most 'normal' one I've seen is Caliente, but it's very restrictive. I've never had any issues being a gay man at a large nudist resort like Caliente, Cypress Cove, Lake Como, etc, but I certainly don't feel like we're well represented.
The idea of a community with a store, church, etc, is a great one. Where can we find it or build it?

You are so lucky! Do they employ nudists or ever have openings?
I'm trying to work towards a 24/7 nude lifestyle, at least as close as I can get to it. I'm currently keeping track of how often I'm nude, and why I dress and cover up when I do. This way I can work tominimize the amount of time I have to be clothed or covered up. Whether its talking withroommatesto have them becomecomfortablewith it, or whatever.I hope that one day I can live in nudist sanctioned land.
I am too - working towards that goal. It would just be so much easier (and nicer!). Take your shower, brush your teeth, make coffee and you would be ready to start your day in your best suit possible - the naked one. No worrying or fussing with clothes. It would save so much time in the morning. We'll get there!

Gates and guardhouses are what keep textile gawkers away. Unless you want to move to Cap d'Agde, France, I don't know how you could avoid them. But buying a place in the woods wouldn't have to be mutually exclusive with being in a community -- you could have a community in the woods. Think hippie communes!
I have chosen Cambium, in the Dominican Republic. Yes, it has gates and guardhouses, but within are several neighborhoods, and you don't need clothes in any of them. The original plan was to have a central area with a hotel and businesses, and I wouldn't dismiss the idea of that plan reviving eventually.
Euronat holiday village in Aquitane, France has an area of 100 acres devoted entirely to residential properties and a further area of similar size containing properties suitable for year round living.
Apart from the seasonally open facilities there is a baker, a fishmonger, two supermarkets, and a hardware and general goods store which I believe to be open throughout the year.
Most of the local businesses deliver to the site so there is no need to dress 24/7/365 unless you want to.
Although most of the residents commute to jobs outside the site there is employment on maintenance within Euronat throughout the year.
