Return to DiscussionsI only wear underwear when I wear my suit to go to work and wear pouch underwear. When Im not working, I never wear underwear, I feel more comfortable then.
I noticed on your profile that you are of an age where you are probably thinking about retirement.
Do you think you will get rid of your underwear when you do?
Haven't had the need or want to wear underwear since I was 14. I did wear boxers in boot camp because our company commander was told I was sleeping naked. He said I had to wear boxers to bed. I slipped into the sheets with boxers, the lights went out and off they came. Onboard ship and ever since then, I never wore any kind of underwear. It was strange in boot camp because I didn't wear underwear in HS. I was in sports and noticed many of the older guys, juniors and seniors, slipping on the Levis and not wearing underwear so I followed suit. Going for that long without wearing them and then having to in boot camp was an adjustment. But I ditched the boxers for graduation and wore my dress blues without boxers.
Nowadays, I own a couple pair of thongs is all. They were gag gifts from my wife. One of the pair I keep when we visit the nude beach. It's illegal to be nude on that beach and rangers have cited those that are nude. I have a light brown thong I wear down there. They've come racing up to us and then the wind is sucked out of their sails when they notice it's a thong the same color as my tan skin. When they leave, I take it off. We've visited another nude beach where we don't have to deal with that.
As a firefighter for 32 years, I never wore underwear under my uniform or turnout pants. Sleeping naked, I'd just roll out of bed, step into my boots/pants and depending on outside temps, I slip on a t shirt or sometimes just a light jacket without a t shirt. When we stopped putting our turnout gear next to our bed, I'd just get outta bed naked, walk out to the rigs, jump into my turnout gear and get on the apparatus. I was quite famous/infamous on my department about my nudity and being a nudist.
lol mom always told me to wear clean underwear, in case of a accident. I'm a commando guy although I do on occasion wear light weight Panties
Actually if you get into an accident that requires a trip to the ER you are doing the medical staff a favor by not wearing underwear since the first thing they do is remove all of your clothing.
Last week, I started wearing underwear for the first time in over a year. I was pan frying fish, nude as usual when it started to spatter a bit. I lifted the pan off the stove top and it slipped out of my hand. Some of the hot oil splashed up. I jumped back and tried to turn away only to be hit by a large drop of hot oil in a not so ideal place. When I am home, I am nude and it is the most comfortable, but when I wear pants, the cotton underwear is less uncomfortable than pants rubbing against it.
