Is it Dogma or Just Doctrine.
Return to DiscussionsBeing Catholic and nudists it is obvious the we think for ourselves and do not always follow the traditional lines of thought. In the Catholic Church we have doctrine and dogma, which are not necessarily the same, plus a lot of experts who tell us what we are to believe.
When it comes to social nudism we have the writings of St. Pope John Paul II to rely upon to show that, when properly enjoyed, it is not a sinful activity and we are free to enjoy it.
What other examples do you have of some of the other bone headed teachings you've heard about in the past? Can you say why they were in error?
