don't, show us your stand by that you're using now. I have
been looking at the new Hobies, but have decided to stay with the
one I have. It is the Hobie Revolution 13. It is a
great yak for longer trips and paddling in the gulf and
sounds. I've also got a smaller 8' Pelican sit in that I like
to take on the small rivers. I've posted a pic of the Revo
13. Look forward to seeing what everyone else is getting out
on the water with.
I just bought my first yak back in spring. It's a bare basic 10' green and white Pelican and I added handles and a paddle holder. I took it on it's maiden voyage from a friends dock out in a rather large river but with a veteran yaker close behind. After a couple more practice runs and learning the basics I made my first nude outing this week. I will post a picture or two after my photographer sends them to me.
I just uploaded a pic of my kayaks and paddle board in winter storage. The living room of my summer cottage. I call it redneck boat storage. But since there is no heat in my cottage I do not use it in the winter months, so it makes a great place to store the summer toys.
