I have made a start to getting a Group page set-up here in TN for this very purpose.

The intent is for members to connect and exchange notes on locations - and if possible join in on hikes together.

The objective though is to ensure a diverse Group forms - and to be clear I don't want it to be overwhelmed by white middle aged men so that women and folks of other diversity can feel safe participating.

Another objective will be to get folks who own private property suitable for hiking to join and facilitate hiking at their property.
