Bottomless Party
Celebrate a bottomless party. You can wear a shirt, but appear naked under belt. Blank, private and friends only profiles remain outside. If you want to see something, you have to show yourself for this group!
Is this even possible?
Return to DiscussionsA bottomless party sounds fun in theory, but in my experience, I have difficulty believing it would go as anticipated. I have been to "social" parties hosted by "nudist" men's groups, and every time, those terms have been euphemisms for what are really gay cruising and casual sex parties. The "socializing" is just a way of feeling out who will go to the bedroom with whom.
Full disclosure: I'm a gay man. But that doesn't mean I want to have sex every time I'm nude around other nude guys. Gay Christian Network and suchlike groups have for many years been trying to counteract the stereotype of "the gay lifestyle" as being about sex with lots of different guys. Unfortunately, I think such efforts are doomed to failure, because those gay men who are all about that make themselves so prominent that they drive the narrative.
Add the fact that most women have experienced sexual harassment or worse at some point in their lives, and I am led to conclude that straight guys, as a group, are not that different from gay guys re: obsession with sex.
The first time I went to one of those disappointing "social" parties, I talked about it afterwards to the friend who had invited me. He opined that because they're gay men, it's not realistic to expect sex to be absent. I would like to think he was wrong, but I have yet to see evidence.
So yes, a bottomless party sounds like something I would like to do in theory; but in practice, I would go in dreading that it was going to turn out to be just another hookup event. Thoughts from the rest of the group? Is my experience an unfortunate exception, or is it common?
I myself have been to a few social NUDE events and there was no sex happening at the even cant say it happened after but jsut because there are 2 (or more) naked men in the same room or event does not mean automatically people thing of sex and if they do im sorry then in my eyes they are just horny perverts. I as a gay nudist have been told many times when i have asked for both gay/no gay men over for a nude event the non gays always say to me "" im not fucking gay faggot"" when i tell em nudity is natural and explain that we ""ALL"" are naked at birth, we ""ALL"" are naked in the shower, they still say im not gay faggot. but still nudity is not either a gay or sexual thing unless made into that
just curious are you referring the time you came to my party??? if so I made it clear it was a social and play party before you came if not I apologize but I make it clear to anyone who asks about my partys that's its a fun friendly playful/social event

Your party, I knew what it was. But I can think of two different groups prior to that who said that that they were "social" groups, and didn't mention the "play" part. Not that I approve of the euphemism "play," since it rightly means anything done for fun or recreation, including kids' games.
