we are thinking of going to Chicago this summer does anyone know any good resorts in the area

The closest nudist park is Blue Lake in the Erie, IL area. There is also the Chicago Sun Club, a nonlanded club that probably has events planned as well.

Try the Ponderosa Sun Club in Roselawn, Indiana. I was a member there for many years. Due to relocation I have not been there for several years so I have no recent information.
