Epilation - does it ever stop hurting?

Return to Discussions

I am a gorilla. I have always been a gorilla. Even from being around 10 at middle school I hated (okay, hated is too strong) being the hairy one in P.E. when the other lads were hairless. By the time I left school I even had hairs growing on the backs of my fingers and some toes.

My chest was like a shag-pile and if I wore a white shirt people would think I had a t-shirt underneath.

I have for a long time wanted to get rid, and have even been talking to Mar about it for years. Last August we finally decided to do something about it. We started off by trimming my pubes, scissors, then bought a trimmer, then shaving. The look and feel of a smooth pubic area was amazing. This then slowly progressed to shaving my arm pits and trimming my back and chest.

This was amazing, but frustrating. My pubic area, and even my arm pits have to be shaved every 2 or 3 days. I'm sure you can imagine my relief when someone suggested getting an Epilator - you only have to do it every 4 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!

So, I have finally purchased one, and have given it a go. The end results are encouraging but I have one question.

Will it every stop hurting like f**k?????

Indeed, that better way is shaving or maybe waxing, still am yet to try that.

With the machine, I think you could only use that on your lower belly and above the line of your penis.

I have found that perseverance is paying off.

It still hurts but not as much. I've found the answer is doing little bits at a time.

Once you get through it the first time, it will go far more smoothly. (Pun intended.)
