Hang Out Nude
Return to DiscussionsI am sure everyone likes to hang out nude here, BUT what is exactly hang out nude and what do we do when hang out nude? Should we always be nude when hang out with other nudists? What are we going to talk about when hang out nude? Sounds pretty basic questions.
Can we hang out clothed? When clothed, we can say let's grab some drink or food or watch a movie. We meet in public space or in house.
Did you join TN to "friend" with people who like to be nude or just to hang out nude with others. I am sure we like both. But, sometimes the idea of hang out nude destroys the opportunity to make friends with other nudists.
It is your choice: do you prefer to hang out nude or meet other nudists first and then after know each others you can hang out nude while doing something meaningful together. That's how friendship is built.
Either nude or clothed when we say let's hang out, we should have topic / plan what we are going to do while hanging out. Hang out nude is not a one night stand, but it is the time when all parties be together as friends AND naked. It is a process of building a friendship. It is not the climax.
Just saying.
Any way is OK by me. Clothed or not....initially. When meeting total strangers for the first time, it can be a bit awkward. In my case, there is a location outdoors that I occasionally go to which is the unofficial nudist hangout. Most of the people there are total strangers, but since we are all totallynude already, it's no problem to say hello and strike up a conversation. We are on common ground so to speak. Now, if you meet a total stranger in person that you met firstonline....that's a bit different. I met someone from TN that way, and after popping open a beer and having conversation for awhile, we dropped the clothing and continued our talk. It takes a little of a devil-may-care attitude I guess, but we already knew each otherwas a nudist, so why not drop the clothing? We did, had a good initial interaction for a few hours, and that was that ! We plan to get back together and watch movies and what-not. Normal everyday stuff, except without the encumbrance of clothing.
For me "nudism" is about doing things I would normally do . . . . only naked. That goes for "hanging out nude" as well.
My usual nudist activities are vacations to the annual Gay Naturists International Gatherings at campground in the Poconos where attendees are nude 24/7 (actually up to ten days) and the Bone Island Bare It All weekends in Key West where there are a variety of nude events including nude pool parties at various clothing optional guest houses, nude parties at some of the local bars, nude shopping at a couple of the local businesses and even nude boat cruises and paddle board excursions.
Although I live in central Fl, which is the naturist capital with several nude resorts in the area, I haven't been a member in a couple of years (due to work). I'm currently trying to find the time to attend events at one of the local male nudist groups (but work gets in the way).
I joined TN as well as a few other nudist sites and my activities on other social networking sites like Twitter to communicate with other nudists to share information that I have as well as find out new nude things to do myself.
