Same here, Tom. Building on that, expecting someone to want to be my friend just because were both nudists is a bit of an ask. If we dont click with our clothes on, why would we enjoy each others company when nude?
I suppose thats why people go directly to sex w strangers because it can (often) be negotiated without having to connect in any other way.
Interesting topic! I joined this site years ago but have never been consistently active on it, mostly because of the things several commenters here have mentioned. The membership seems to be largely male, and a significant number of them are mostly interested in sexual encounters, most of them of the gay kind. Gay people aren't the issue. But since I am not gay I'm not interested in meetups where the others there are expecting some kind of gay sexual encounters.
Sometimes the way people describe what they are interested in is vague enough that one might innocently respond to an invitation to an event and be unpleasantly surprised when it turns out to be something other than what they thought. So, for that reason I was hoping to find events that are co-ed, but that doesn't seem very prevalent. Apparently due to the shortage of enough female members.
But back to the main topic, yes it doesn't seem to be easy to find get-togethers where all involved are just wanting to socialize in the nude and nothing more. I admit not all kinds of activities are to my preference, but I'm willing to attend most things that most people enjoy. Personally, I am looking for hiking companions for free-hikes where it's safe to do so. I'm also up for summer swimming pool activities and related things.
