A place for Australians to meet rather then surfing through random countries for friends, not that there is any thing wrong with that as I fully believe we should look past our own horizon and experience other cultures. It just makes it a bit easier to meet up for functions if we're in the same country.

My wife and I are regular nudists who like to go to Cobblers when the weather is nice and we just spent time up the Central Coast and enjoyed a few times at Birdie.
But that's beside the point, what I want to ask is, what has happened to massages lately?
I'm early '50's now and I used to enjoy regularly having massages in my '20's and '30's. In those days every single massage I had I was totally nude. I loved the experience of it all and the overall sensuality.
In recent years I've gone to have massages and, without exception I am told to strip down to my undies and the masseuse then proceeds to engage in this ritual involving many towels tucked into my pants in order to avoid any suggestion of professional impropriety. The result is anything but the sensual experience I remember massage to be.
Does anyone on the forum know of any masseuses these days who massage their clients the old fashioned way by having them actually nude? I'm not talking about sleazy rub 'n tug joints here, but a proper sensual Swedish massage.

I do massage in Adelaide as a home hobby. I have a history in sports medical and massage at a sports level. I don't mind what anyone wears when they have a massage, but everyone wears at least underwear. I use oils for massage and this makes it difficult especially if they need glute work and if they wear more than just underwear. I have towels available, but no one is interested in being nude. Either way it doesn't bother me as I am discreet in all cases, but generally the less and non restrictive clothing the better the massage.
It seems to me that it is a matter of getting to know a masseuse and creating an environment where both parties feel safe and secure.
There was a traditional Chinese place at a mall near me and, when I started seeing the same masseuse for a few months, eventually they became comfortable on the days where I forgot to wear underwear. It probably helps that I said up front that I'd forgot them, and that I'd be back after I went and purchased a pair. They said not to worry about it, and after a few more trips, underwear became a non thing.

My wife and i also go to Birdie Beach,we were there before the storms and wind was cool so we went into dunes,my wife oves a good massage and was no shortage of offers up where it was a little more secluded,She can take it till the cows come home for milking.Anyway she got a lot of massages,some were ok some were toooooo hard with pressure but generally guys were pretty well behaved with just the occasional wanderers but was free

As a professional massage therapist I completely agree with Kahuna. It is important to maintain some standards especially with new clients to protect both the therapist and the client from any possible misunderstandings. As with Kahuna, I do not massage breasts or genitals for obvious reasons although for someone that I trust I do not care if they are fully naked.
I have not trained with Kahuna bodywork although that does interest me and may do so some time in the future. I have trained in Taoist massage which is a full body sensual experience that requires complete exposure and a lot of oil but again, is not actually sexual.

Massage therapist here and work from home, usually naked for most of my massages and so are my clients but totally understand what you're saying...It's just crazy that it's got to that stage where even getting a massage we're supposed to leave jox on...
