Return to DiscussionsThe slaughter in Paris is yet another example of how religionis oftenused to "justify" murder and mayhem. Most of the religious people that I've known in my life have been kind, gentle, and well-meaning. But being kind, gentle, and well-meaning does not require having a religion as a prerequisite ! And unfortunately, some are so negativelywarped by their religion that they use it as an excuse to damage or end the lives of others. Truly sad indeed.
