Return to DiscussionsJesus Christ......what's happening???? I noticed a lot of inactivity on this site and figured I'd say "hello" ! Everyday I am assaulted by Christian Fundamentalists at my job. I'm polite to them when they want me to be "saved", but otherwise I feel sympathetic towards the level of their gullibility and culturally imposed delusion. It boggles the (rational) mind ! I sympathize with their culturally imposed paranoia. Fear is an effective and dominant aspect ofANY religious belief system. In fact...fear is THE dominant factor. Too bad this kind of mental delusion (illness) is passed down from generation to generation. If this kind of crap wasn't a big part of the rotten situations going onplanet wide...I think things would be a helluva lot more PEACEFUL !!! In the meantime....I'll endeavor to be peaceful with my fellow human beings ! I don't mind if you're Straight, Gay, Lesbian,Bi, Christian, Muslim, Jew, Australian Aborigine, Atheist, Agnostic, Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever ! Stay FREE...stay NUDE ! (Nudity is a form of Civil Disobedience).
YOU SAID IT RIGHT. I could go on to say: If churches had to pay taxes you would see a lot of these so called religions fade away into the sunset. Of course in most cases the higher archy in the churches don't have to be accountable to anyone other than themselves for monetary gain. People steal from hard working Americans for 2 reasons (a.) for drugs (b.) churches steal from us and give us absolutely nothing in return. Sunday every church collected money in the name of the Lord, to what address did they send the Lord his portion? Gee what an easy way to make a living, and a preacher has to answer to no one that matters... I could go on and on but this is enough for now.
