For our website, we are planning to spend a lot of time in Asia in 2018 to investigate the different opportunities for nudists. During our research we could already find out that Thailand, Bali and Taiwan have several nudist resorts and that in Thailand they actually started to promote nudist tourism. So those places we're certainly going to visit.
But we are also wondering about the other countries where nudism is still very much frowned upon or even forbidden by law. We're thinking about India, Vietnam, Cambodia,...
Is nudism common over there or rather not?
Is nudism restricted to within the house or are there secret places to go nude?
Is there any kind of social nudism or gatherings? And if so, is it organised by some kind of organisation?
If you happen to know any nudist organisations in Asia, we'd be happy to hear about them...
So many questions...

Hi,
Am a nudist from India. Nudism is slowly growing strength over here. Although there is still some confusion in a lot of people's minds regarding what nudism is. As per my estimate, there are about 100-120 genuine nudists here, the majority being men. There are about 20-25 couples, and 1 single woman (though there are dozens of profiles here - more or less all fake).
Of course, with our temperatures roaming between 40 and 50 degree Celsius during summer, there might be hundreds of thousands of people who stay naked inside their homes, but they will not categorize themselves as nudists.
So far, there have been regular meetups in Kolkata, Panaji, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Of course, our country being a conservative one, there aren't many opportunities for outdoor nudism. But people do go naked sometimes in secluded beaches and forests - mostly in Goa and Bengal.
There are also a number of religious sects who practice nudism; the "Naga sadhus" and "Digambar Jains" are the most famous.

Indeed, we also heard about some places in the Philippines where public nudity would be possible, especially on more secluded resort islands. We'll surely lookout for those when we visit the country.
As you say, it could happen that nudism will start evolving there soon, as how it's happening in Thailand right now.

Well l'm into naturism for more than 20 years. I'm living in south India. But I didn't find any nudist org /club to organize naturist events /tour. After joining with truenudists.com am able to meet fellow naturists. I could find very few active genuine naturists available in India.
I'm always nude at home. Often go outdoor alone and some times with friends. There are secure places where we can go nude. Some times we encounter textile people watch us and feel embraced. But in my case people who noticed me never in the buff haven't disturb or offend me in anyway. Especially females crosses me with a smile.
I have good naturist friends in Western countries who encouraged me in my early days. I thank them for the support which made me enjoy naturism always.
Being nude in the nature is always amazing. I love naturism forever.

I live in Cambodia and haven't met any fellow nudists. I am sure there might be some around because Phnom Penh is a very international city and some of the ex-pats living here might enjoy naked activities back in their home countries. Overall, Cambodians are very conservative about showing skin in public and getting naked in public areas would have an element of risk associated with it. Regardless, everyone should enjoy being naked as often as possible!

I am from Bangladesh. And its not possible to practice this kind of lifestyle in this society due to social and religious obstacle, and obviously forbidden by law. Even I have enter this lifestyle while I was in south korea, I am a sauna lover, and its a great way to get nude in sauna. besides i practice nudism in home now days, but can not flexibly.
I think thailand is the great place to practice.....
