Picacho Mountains
Return to DiscussionsI spent yesterday nude hiking the north end of the Picacho Mountains, just south of Florence. This is a nice area, especially now since the desert is very green from the rain this winter. The wildflowers are just coming out, it's going to be spectacular in another couple of weeks. There's good access to this area via N. Start Rd. The road is unpaved and you have to go slow in a few places but it goes right by a Petroglyph site that is worth a visit. It's normal to see a few people around the petroglyphs and on the main road but there are plenty of wide open spaces where no one goes. Perfect for a nude day in nature.
