Return to DiscussionsI visited Gran Canaria in December and decided I wanted to get rid of the hair on my back , I've never found it sexy in any way , I have posted before and after pics on the media section of the group so members can have a look and let me know what they think
Having just come back from Fuerteventura (the adjacent island) I can tell you that, even there, it isn't all that warm. It was 18 to 20 C. So you might miss the fur coat.
In previous years I had a full body wax before each holiday. it took 2 1/2 hours but I felt great afterwards. Dare I say I also enjoyed the attention of the lady doing the waxing despite the pain. It cost 120 GBP each time and I realised I could afford an extra holiday on what I'd spent each year. So now I go in for DIY waxing using products from the chemist, backed up with shaving. But in the winter I leave my arms and legs hairy for the warmth.
I tried waxing my pubes myself without much luck. Always dew blood. My back hair is very fine and blond so doesn't really show much. I just shave the pubes and balls and every so often use magic shave cream around anus and taint area. It works great on the finer hairs but not the grey pubes that I have now.
Thank you for all your positive comments and although there may be some debate about hairy or smooth chest, legs or pubes I haven't heard anyone suggesting I keep my back hair so will now do it regularly , first time was quite painful but I think if its maintained any further waxing will be less of an ordeal, I felt sorry for the poor Woman at the studio who must have felt like She was hacking her way through the rain forest , lol I've also been thinking of buying a no no, ( laser hair removal device ) for hair removal , has anyone tried using one of these ?
Ive had my back waxed a few times. My hair seems to grow back faster when I do wax. I have better luck with Nair. Let me know how it goes. Whether I wax or use Nair, I love the feeling after its done. I can go shirtless without feel like people are staring at me.
