Travelites' Halloween party was attended by folk not only from the Midlands of SC but also GA and North Carolina.
First place costume award went to Deby (Scarecrow) from NC. Mike from GA won the pumpkin and took home a (made in the USA) glass beer mug.

Food included 2 varieties of sauteed shrimp & rice, tossed salad with all sorts of vegetables, garlic loaf, Halloween Cookies, and black raspberry ice cream plus of course, the garlic/spinach dip, mango salsa and assorted chips and crackers.

The hot tub was well-enjoyed.

The next event will be in Hopkins. Our annual Thanksgiving feast including a deep-fried turkey on Saturday, Nov. 5. The club will provide the turkey, but we need know by Tuesday, Nov. 1st how many will be attending so that there is enough for everyone. Please RSVP asap. Attendees are asked to bring sides and desserts. So far we have a sweet potato casserole.

Nov. 19 we have a Lobster Bash/Oyster Roast scheduled in Ridgeway. I will need to know and receive payment a week ahead for the oysters and lobsters so we can order them. There will also be pasta Alfredo for those who do not eat seafood. As we get closer to the date, I will email the prices of the animals to those who expressed interest in attending.
